Island Mountain Top
There are only a few small islands with the largest being Wild Horse Island. The lake is full of native Bull and Cutthroat trout, and huge Lake trout, along with perch and whitefish.
There are very few boating hazards in Flathead Lake. The only submersed hazards are well marked such as this buoy at the mouth of Somers Bay.
