Woods Bay
The Sitting Duck Saloon has a large dock where you can tie up your boat and go inside for dinner and cocktails. You'll find a rustic atmosphere that includes everything from a roaring fireplace to wildlife trophies of caribou, elk, moose and a mountain lion on the walls.
The "Duck" has good food and great cocktails and the friendliest locals who will tell where the best fishing can be found. This is a "must see" stop during your visit to Flathead Lake.
The Sitting Duck is our favorite diversion when we are boating on the lake... (okay, second favorite diversion). There is just nothing like tying up a their pier and enjoying the finest view in Montana in the company of great people. The Sitting Duck changed ownership in '06 and the owners are making great improvements to everything from the menu to entertainment. Check out the "Duck", it is worth the trip by boat or by road.
